Re: Precipitation and water temperature

For now I have defined the precipitation as a polygon discharge into the upper level of the whole lake.

But I really want to know what I'm doing wrong...

Precipitation and water temperature

Hello dear MOHIDers, when I define a precipitation input, the water temperature of the upper levels rises drastically (from 10°C to over 100°C in 48 minutes!). Seconds YY MM DD hh mm ss temperature <BeginTimeSerie> 1.00 1995 9 1 7 0 1.0000 0.100088926414E+002 61.00 1995 9 1 7 1 1.0000 0.105523040005...

Hello Conchi,
I have the same problem. Have you found a solution?

Re: Troubles defining cartesian domain

Wow, that was a stupid mistake... It had nothing to do with the geometry file. I work with metric coordinates but specified Simple Geometric in my bathymetry.

Troubles defining cartesian domain

Hello MOHIDers, I'm modelling a lake in Germany. Its deepest point is at 50.5 meters above mean sea level and my reference height is at 110 m, so the heighest value in my bathymetry file is 59.5. I want to have 0.5 meters thick cartesian layers from the bottom up to 5 meters below reference level, a...

Water Level

Hello MOHIDers, I'm using MOHID to model a lake. I'm interested in the water level, so I output it in the hydrodynamics files (.srh) and in the water properties files (.srw). These two file types have very different water level outputs. While the properties files seem to give reasonable results, the...

Missing Values in Time Series

Hey!
Is it possible to have missing values in the atmospheric time series that force the model? If yes, how do I specifiy them (NA, -999, etc.) and how does MOHID treat these missing values?

Thanks,
Johannes
