Macroalgae module

Has anybody used the macroalgae module? Because I have a question related to the spatial distribution of macroalgae.

Re: Interpolation

After posting this issue, I received a recommendation from Francisco Campuzano. In this new MOHID version if one wants to use precipitation values in mm/hour or mm/day, then there is a new keycode that has to be added:

USE_ORIGINAL_VALUES : 1

And, it works!!

Thanks to Francisco.

Interpolation

We are using the latest 64bit version of MOHID water. Yet we are having a new problem (which never happened with the older 32bit version). Upon running it generated the following error: Rain can't be INTERPOLATED. Check precipitation property options. Modify Precipitation - ModuleAtmosphere - ERR050...

Drag coefficients and obstacles

Greetings, We are modelling the effect of water vegetation (macrophytes) on the concentration of suspended solids in a Chilean wetland. For MOHID the vegetation is simulated as polygons affecting the water flow as obstacles, using drag coefficients obtained from the literature. However, we are exper...

Modelling high altitude lakes

Dear Mohiders, We would like to try modelling the hydrodynamics of a high altitude lake in the Chilean Andes using MOHID Water. So, we have some questions: 1. Is there any reason why it shouln't work? 2. Is there any special keyword we should use in setting up the model? (reference level for example...

Greetings Luis, I solved our problem related to Solar Radiation, of course it was a small mistake from us  We have forgotten to turn on (: 1) the SURFACE_FLUXES keyword. However, now we have a differenet problem. The solar radiation starts only at 13:00 hrs and it is out of phase with the loca...

Greetings everyone, My question to the forum is simple: Can you nest a model in the \"middle\" of another model? We have to model the circulation around an Island, thus the large model domain will generate open boundaries all over the place for the nested model. Can MOHID handle that kind ...

Dear Mohiders, I need some help with the slowstart. We are running a two level nested models. We need to slowstart the \"father\" model in order to produce a smooth tide. Thus, we run it for two months prior to connecting the \"son\"model (submodel). Then we also tried to slowsta...
