Hi,

the reference density is used to initialize the water density with a constant value. This is usefull if you don't want to calculate the density explicitly based on temperature and salinity.

You have to activate the COMPUTE_BOUYANCY option.

Be careful however in simulating this type of plume (negative bouyancy) because this is still under development.

You can find the code in mohid.codeplex.com.

I don't know if the linux makefile is prepared to compile the HDFExtractor, but it should be exactly the same as compiling MOHID Water.
