Re: Impose a variable value at the boundary
The methodology that I normally follow is to considered the follow in the Waterproperties_x.dat file <beginproperty> NAME : nitrate DATA_ASSIMILATION : 1 !Null gradient BOUNDARY_CONDITION : 4 ... <endproperty> In Assimilation_x.dat <beginproperty> NAME : nitrate UNITS : mgN/l DIMENSION : 3D OUTPUT_H...

Hello Andrés, 1 - when the fes2004 present for a specific location values of -5000.000; -2000.000 is because it consideres that point out of the FES2004 domain (land or very near from land); 2 - for the model is ojk to give an angle in negative (e.g. -90) or positive values (e.g. 270). Best regards,...

Nuno, this is a stupid thing of the post-processor. The tool do always the calculations based in the maximum depth of the entire Y direction. The conseuqence is that the picture is visible but is outside of the zoom done automaticly by the tool. You need to pan uppeard several times (order of 10). P...

Problems in the visualization of sections - Post processor
Question made by Nuno Vaz.
\"I'm able to see a cross section in post-processor along XZ if I assume the entire domain in the Y direction (lines = 1:80). However, if a choose to see only part of the Y direction (lines = 50:65) the picture disappears.\"

Compilation for AMD processors
Hi all,
I want to compile NOHID in Windows XP with Fortran Intel V11 running inside VS2008 in a PC with Intel processors.
What I need to consider in the compilation configuration ?
I know that standard configuration give some problems.
Best regards,
Paulo

5. The Assimilation.dat file should include the properties to be assimilated by the son's model (in my case u, v). These properties are read from a hdf5 file (wich is the father's grid output hdf5, right?) What do FILE_IN_TIME and TYPE_ZUV mean?. I know TYPE_ZUV relates to where the assimilation da...

Hi Gonzalo, First of all, we should have 2 Grid Data files, each corresponding to father and son grids. The father grid domain should include the whole son's grid. So I supose the nodes of the fathers' and son's grid should be the same in the boundaries between them, right? No. They do not need to m...

Hi, in coastal applications of mohid there is no reason why a double precision and single precison versions can give significant different solutions. 1.-You cannot nest curvilinear grids. Right? Is there much diference in the accuracy of a simple and a curvilinear grid? You can nest curvilinear grid...
