Hi Paulo,

Changing time step I was able to reduce courant number to 0.1658, but the error persists . Could it be related with the fact I am not using an INTEL processor? Luis provided an independent mohid water.exe this morning.

forrtl: severe (157): Program exception - access violation

Hi Mohid users,

I was running a 1 m/s wind simulation and I got the message included as subject. The only sentence a bit strange was a courant number of 39.79 in a cell. Cell size is 100 mx 100m. Is actually a problem with courant number ?

It works better

Hello Luis, first of all, thanks for your quick answer. It starts working, so the problem is already solved. Now I have a problem with FACE_OPTIONS ERR_40 (option 1 is not accepted, should be 2 or 3). I'll look for the solution in previous topics in the Forum and in the user manual. At least, I am c...

You're right. UTM works, if you save the file before running Digital Terrain Creator.

I've appreciated the bypass you propose for geographic coordinates. Thanks,

MOhid water.exe not built for my processor

I was trying to do my first tidal simulation and I got this message: \"This program was not built to run on the processor in your system.\" I would expect several problems in the input data but the problem with processor appears before. Any idea. Should I download anything else ? Thanks, Enric

Coordinates system in Digital terrain generator (MOHID GIS)

I am starting with MOHID GIS. I was able to create a digital terrain with local coordinates. When I try to do it with UTM coordinates or Geographic coordinates, the Digital Terrain Generator told me \"GEOG coordinate type cannot be used in digital terrain generation\" What I am doing wrong?. What ca...
