Assignment of discharge points
Dear Mohiders, :P I want to assign a momentum discharge. Is there a way to place the discharge location by coordinates (global or local)? Also the depth of the discharge location in meter? I found somewhere the keywords COORD_X and COORD_Y and for the depth in meter K_DEPTH. But all these things don...

consideration of ice layer
Hi, :) it has been a long time.... currently I am modeling a small lake. I know this lake is covered by an ice layer every winter. It seems MOHID Water isn`t able to simulate an ice layer, isn`t it? So when I start a simulation on the first January the model overvalues the temperature and calculates...

sw_ext_coef and SW_KW without effect
Hi, it is quiet here any time recently. What is wrong? :) Ahh... I think the MOHID STUDIO costs all power? Nevertheless a question: In my model I have chl_a and cohesive sediments, I use the property LIGHT EXTINCTION TYPE : 4 I can`t notice any impact of the vertical temperatur profile by changing S...

waterpoints or openpoints
Hi at all, to display a vertical temperature profile I mapped always the water points. Recently I took the openpoints and I noticed a difference in the profile. Not much and mainly in the thermocline. Why? What`s exactly the difference between open points and water points and which type is the right...

Hi Frank, thank you for your quick answer. Maybe another question :) Do you know the difference between the keywords SW_KW (which is the Short wave absorption coeficient) and SW_EXTINCTION_COEF (which is the Short-wave extinction coeficient) ? Isn`t it the same? The same influence of temperature dec...

Keyword Cloud_cover_method
Hi it`s me again, despite nobody wants to talk with me :) another question... On MOHID WIKI \"Coupling Water-Atmosphere User Manual\" is the cloud cover method described as an global variable in the atmosphere.dat. But sometimes on examples I can see this entry right on the head of the atm...

still reference density
Uhuhu .... so many views and no comment? I do not believe that...
Please... what is the \"reference density\" stand for?
Reference for what, for which calculation.
Thanks
Michael

Hi everybody,
please can someone explain the function of the entry \"reference density\" in the water property module?
Tahnk you very much

TVOL200 - particles volume variation
Hi at all,
for what purpose serves the function \"particles volume variation\" TVOL200? What does it mean exactly? Where ist the relation to fecal coliforms for instance? Does it mean a kind of growth rate?
Thank you
bye

Hi,
does really nobody know a way to select only the ground cells of an area?

adress only all ground cells in a cartesian vertical domain
Hi folks, is there a way to choose only the ground cells? Due to the uneven ground of my considered lake each third or fourth ground cell is situatde in an other vertical layer. It would be helpfull to have a keyword or something to choose the ground cells not by depth (z coordinates) or k-value, bu...

assign a positiv ground water flow
Hi, it is me again :D my considered small lake has a positiv ground water flow through a certain ground area in reality. I want to implement such a ground water flow in my model but... due to the ground morphology many ground cells have different depths and thereby different k values. Is there a key...

COEF_INITIAL_MIXING ??
Dear Mohider
what exactly means \"COEF_INITIAL_MIXING\" in the lagrangian module? what is the impact of this coefficient? I changed it but there was no difference in the results.
Thanks
Michael
