Re: Crop growth
Hi David! Thanks for the explanations! I have set HARVEST_PLANTHU : 0.2 for the ID occupied by PAST and accumulated HU go increasing from 0 to almost 0.4, but no reduction in accHU and neither in bomass is shown.. (when harvest operation occur, all the biomass is taken off? and accHU becomes 0?) In ...

Re: Constant irrigation value
ok!
solved
I had an ID (I have more time series than the ones I sent you) with 99 before the number..
Now, I get some -0.0 values in the hdf, but in mohid doesnt appear anything weird when I load the file, so solved.
No, I have to find out how to make mohid reads the rain..
thanks!!

Re: Constant irrigation value
Hello Eduardo, thanks for the answer! The weird values appeared after using Fillmatrix, in input irrigation HDF, although I still haven’t input it to mohid, as I didn’t managed to set a constant irrigation I thought that this neither would work.. The irrigation block in the atmosphere file is the fo...

Re: Constant irrigation value
Hello again! Although I couldnt manage to solve the problem I mention above, I move forward by creating the hdf file for irrigation. Now, I have the value expected in the cells with the agricultural practice ID and it follows the crop rotation, so everything OK. The thing is that in some cells, and ...

Constant irrigation value
Hello all! I´m trying now to create an hdf file to input irrigation data, but first, I´m trying to set a constant value. As hard as I try,I only manage to stablish first time value, not a constant one and I thought I was doing it right but seems I´m not.. the block is: <beginproperty> NAME : irrigat...

Crop growth
Hi all! I´m trying to stablish PAST itinerary through heat units but there is something I think I´m missing.. 1) in a continuous simulation I´ve set HU fraction to harvest: 0.81 with an efficiency of 0.5. when that ammount is reached the total biomass is reduced from 24000to 10700. shouldnt be reduc...

Re: MRN: tracer output
another one :) Taking into account that nodes are sections and reaches are volumes, just to have this clear, I´d like to know the following points: -Previously you said that concentration, water depth and everything is outputted at nodes. How does the model obtain that value? Considering the previou...

Re: MRN: tracer output
thanks, I think I see...let correct me please: when the discharge begins, the mass aported to the reach is mix with the water in the reach so that it has a "X" concentration which value goes increasing as the discharge goes on. When discharge finishes, the water of Y concentration moves do...

Re: MRN: tracer output
ok david. undestood the dt problem! :) Now, the discharges are read in the nodes, while outputs in river are output for reaches, right? So the concentration (with corresponding given Q) I give as a discharge for a time step, is going to be updated for the Q is flowing in the reach for that time step...

Re: MRN: tracer output
Hello david! Ok, so I understand that the model reads the discharges after the time discretization and so, the discharge has to last at least the dt. So related to this, I wonder if I do the following thing right: To see more or less the time step, I open any output file and I see the seconds that l...

Re: MRN: tracer output
The discharge lasts 0.1h, so 360s, no? although it was 6s, being the mass flux 500g/s, how have you obtained 40kg? And, I don’t understand well what you say about time step and discharge duration. You mean that the model doesn’t consider nothing happening if its duration is shorter than time step? T...

Re: Operations with hdf data
Last point :) I´ve created finally the hdf with no interpolated data! the thing is, that the change of crop from year to year happens at different day (with a week delay) although in the time serie the change is set at the same time. In the fillmatrix.dat I have: PROPERTY_NAME : AgricPractID PROPERT...
