Re: Insufficient memory to allocate fortran RTL message buff

Hi Ana,

Which version of MOHID are you using? What's your computer specifications? RAM? windows XP, vista, 7?

How many grid cells in each of the grids you've tested?

Cheers,
Luis

Re: Matlab tools

Hi,

I've sent the matlab tools to you.
They require m_map (http://www.eos.ubc.ca/~rich/map.html).
Sorry, no user manual yet.

Best regards,

Re: Mohid Land

Hi Cinthya, The MOHID Water forum is more appropriate for this, but nevertheless, as the WaterQuality module is shared with MOHID Land... if you don't have any data for NO2, you can use 10% of NO3 concentration. NO2 is rather an intermediate between NH4 and NO3. The model will adjust the initial con...

Hi,

In MOHID Studio you can use the shapefiles to create your bathymetry/topography.

Re: TVOL200 - particles volume variation

Hi,

TVOL200 is the time a lagrangian particle takes to double its volume due to turbulence.

It is a method to compute mixing of the lagrangian particle with the ambient water.

Re: terrain file is not clear in output format

Hi Murali,

Can you post the figure please? Did you create the figure in MOHID post processor? with some graphic cards the post processor does not work correctly. Please use MOHID GIS or the new MOHID Studio.

Best regards,
Luis

Re: Biological model - Lagrangian model

Hi Laura, It's possible and it has been done with sardine larvae at some point, but I'm not sure if it's still available in the current MOHID code. You can only add new formulations by coding them in MOHID. MOHID is open source and you can download (mohid.codeplex.com) and change the code to solve y...

Re: forrtl: error (72) floating overflow

Hi,

This is most likely a problem regarding time step. Have you tried to reduce it?
Can you be more specific on the type of application and options you're using?
What's your maximum Courant number?

Re: Plotting Lagraqngian results in GIS

Hi,

You have to choose the latitude and longitude both in the grid group (in the hdf5 file) and in the Lagrangian results. Do not choose the X and Y coordinates in the results.

Hope this helps,
Luis

Re: Grid and bathymetry

Hi,

Using the MOHID GIS Digital Terrain Creator (http://www.mohid.com/wiki/index.php?title=Mohid_GIS#Create_Digital_Terrain) or the new MOHID Studio you can generate a bathymetry using the xyz, grd and xy files.

Best regards,
Luis
