Hi Mathias, you need to define in the discharges input data file the flow. The flow is the most important property in a discharge. By default the model assumes flow equal to zero. You can define a constant value DEFAULT_FLOW_VALUE : ??? or you can specify a column in the time serie input file FLOW_C...

Mariana, I think the next step is you send me or luís or angela your input files and bathymetry and we can have a look on your results. The statment that you talk about is vage. The ideia is to say this are empric parameters you need to tune until spurious oscillations do not change significantly th...

About the question of level 1 having a higher resolution than level 2. The answer the level 1 was 2D model already calibrated in the framework of Ângela Canas phD. I did not want to repeat the work.

To smooth the bathymetry near the boundary can be a good option.

The same errors happens if the previous run was done with MOHID compile in single precision and the present run is made with a double precision version and vice-versa.

in the continuous run you disconnect all the options related with the slow connection of the forcing ??

Dear Philippe and Angela,
I think the next step should be looking in to the model results. I would like to see the hydrodynamic results of the run with no radiation and three tidal gauges.

Best regards,

Look at this report to see the potential of MOHID in modelling shoreline erosion. Is in Portuguese.
It is not easy because you need to use a wave model able to generate radiatino stresses. You usually use STWAVE.

The concept of land only make sense in marine applications. If you are working with z value lower than -99 you probably ha...

Dear Enrique,
I think we can go for a 3D model with enough vertical discretization (10 layers) to solve your problems without increasing the computational time. My aim is to reduce the compuational time. We will talk next week in Barcelona.

Best regards,
Paulo
