Dear enrique, I just see your message in forum. I have talked with Pedro Galvão about the problem of doing time series of T90. Pedro has already programmed this option. We will introduce this is the next mohid version. About the T90 the problem when you have a 2D model we compute a average radiation...

Hello Pantxika, this is probably because you in oyur module sand input data file (sand_x.dat) you have the follow option on : BATHYM_EVOLUTION : 1 With this option you are saying that you want that the sand transport will change the bathymetry (morphodynamics). In this case in the bathymetry file yo...

Hello, the best way to confirm if the number of time fields (time_x) is equal to the number of the lagrangian position fields. From your error massage are not. Probably the position A reason for that happen is the lagrangian modulo do not do outputs when there are no tracers. My advise is to put onl...

Hi Enrique, the MOHID uses \"climatological radiation fucntion\" that gives you a radiation function of latitude and time. To use a climatologic radiation you only need to define the follow in the atmospheric_x.dat input data file: <beginproperty> NAME : solar radiation UNITS : W/m^2 DESCRIPTION : c...

Dear Mohid users, after suffering the last 2 weeks to put the biogeochemical model running in Santos (Brasil) and Bahia Blanca (Argentina) I have decided to write something about common errors that happen in running the biogeochemical model and about solutions to overcome these errors. Modeling water properties transport step by step

To all Mohid Users, I define a step by step methodology for modeling water properties transport using mohid in the Mohid Wiki. The modeling water properties transport is usual a difficult barrier to overcome especially in costal areas with intertidal areas like estuaries and coastal lagoons. See htt...

Dear Ismael, I think found the error (or errors): 1- In the far field I was doing a momentum balance for each tracer. However, I was not reinitializing to zero the vertical velocity when the tracers touch the surface boundary (or the bottom); 2 – I was computing the environment density with a formul...

Hi Eric,

look at the deph of the cell and to the time step. A courtant number of 30 can be achieve for example if you have depth of 90 m and a dt of 100 s.
