Re: Operations with hdf data

I'll look to see if there is an easy way to do that. :)

Re: How to decrease Evaporation

Hi :) Let's do some clarifications regarding these keywords. ------------------------------------------------------ 1. IGNORE_WATER_COLUMN_ON_EVAP This keyword is used in Porous Media module. It's a logical keyword and its default value is 0 (OFF). The STANDARD behavior for porous media is to evapor...

Re: HDF inputs

Hum... I never tried to create an HDF with so many time instants... I think you should split this file, so there are fewer time instants on each one and than run the simulations with continuation. Anyway, if fillmatrix don't rise any error during the creation of the file, probably it is ok, and the ...

Re: reading an HDF

ok.

I would like to know the version of MohidStudio that you are using.
Also, could you send to me the HDF that you are trying to visualize?

I will make some testes here and if I can reproduce the error, I send a message to Frank reporting it :)

Re: reading an HDF

Hello Ane, Looking to the images you sent to me I think I understood the problem. The "select tool" that you use to see the values in a cell (or group of cells) in the HDF is a static tool. This means that it will show only the value that was at the time instant you pick the HDF. If the HD...

Re: reading an HDF

Hello Ane :) Assuming that you are looking to the HDF map, if the color changes, the value of the property that you have selected also is changing. To see this change, you have to be sure that you have chose the HDF in the left panel and than selected the option to visualize its value. It will becam...

Re: reading an HDF

Ane, try to add the keyword HDF_FIELD_NAME to the block, with the value 'vegetation', that is the name of the property... <begin_AgriculturalPractices> HDF_FIELD_NAME : vegetation INITIALIZATION_METHOD : HDF FILENAME : ..\General Data\Other\Vegetation\proba fillmatrix\vegetation3ID.hdf5 DEFAULTVALUE...

Re: reading an HDF

Hello Ane. If you observe the error #000, you will see that messages says: H5Gopen(): group not found The H5Gopen is the function used to OPEN the HDF5 file. The "group not found" message tells that it was not possible to find the "group". The "group" is important becau...

Re: HDF inputs

Hello Ane :) Yes, 10 minutes interval, depending how many days you are trying to run, will create a huge file. So, I think you have two options here. 1. Instead of using 10 minutes interval, use hourly interval, as you said. 2. To split both the meteorological HDF and the simulations. The option you...

Re: HDF inputs

Hello Ane. I sent you 4 executables for Fillmatrix. One basic version, one with OpenMP (omp), one basic version 64 bits (x64) and one with OpenMP 64 bits (omp_x64). The OpenMP versions maybe are faster than the others, and the 64 bits version can be used only in computers with a 64 bits operating sy...

Re: HDF inputs

Hello Ane :) "Stack Overflow" happens when the program you are using try to allocate more memory than it's possible. Even if there is enough memory in the computer, sometimes this happens because the "place" where it is allocating has some kind of limitation by the operating syst...

Re: HDF inputs

ok.

When you change the type of file from timeseries to hdf, you have to change the FILE_IN_TIME keyword to HDF
