How to decrease Evaporation

Hii! Making a water balance, I realize that the evapotranspiration fluxes are too high for my catchment (about 85%, when they should be around 65%). The keywords I think (correct me please if I´m wrong) are related to the amount of water is going to be lost thought this proccess are LIMIT_EVAP_WATER...

Operations with hdf data

Hi again!

I wonder if it is possible to calculate how many "X" value cells there are inside the catchment and not in the whole grid. For instance, how can I calculate how many km2 of a kind of crop are there in the catchemnt?

Re: HDF inputs

Another one :? Using fillmatrix I see that in the ms2 window all time instants defined inside the "start-end" period are shown, but then, I open the hdf with hdf viewer and I just see a maximum of 10000 time instants. This is a problem of the hdf viewer program isnt it? Due to the size I c...

Re: HDF inputs

Thanks a lot! I´ve created an hdf for hourly precipitation data from 3 stations, and it is 600 Mb. I think I will split the information in this file cause I have daily data for the first year (the warm up period). So that I´ll have daily data from 1 station for warming up, and then an hdf file with ...

Re: reading an HDF

Solved! 8) I´ve just made a 2 month simulation, so I cant see nothing at all.. but if I had a 2 crop rotation, which would be the way to check which is the crop growing in each moment? As I told you querying the map doesnt work.. always get the same value althought the colour corresponding to differ...

Re: HDF inputs

Hello Eduardo! Thank you a lot! I managed to run it.. but.. it is still runnig since yesterday :o Now it is almost 3GB and it still goes increasing.. So maybe as you said, it will be too big for mohid to read it. More or less which is the size it is able to cope with? Cause the other option would be...

reading an HDF

Hello all! I´m trying now to create a hdf with different agricultural practices. In the map window it seems to be ok, with the right dates and so.. But, when I run the model I get: GetHDF5ArrayDimensions - ModuleHDF5 - ERR10 HDF5-DIAG: Error detected in HDF5 library version: 1.6.8 thread 0. Back tra...

Re: HDF inputs

Hello again! I write here my new problem.. :) I have different stations with daily data (for a year) and 10min data(for the remaining period). I´m using the following values: MAX_TIME_SPAN (maximum span in seconds for a time serie value to be considered valid as data source): 86500 (because for the ...

Re: HDF inputs

I cant find anything wrong..
After the path in which I specify the file? But the message only appears with extension of hdf5 (If I change this into srm it works) So maybe sth inside the hdf file? Or sth while its creation(in fillmatrix.dat)?
