Biological model - Lagrangian model

Postby lalvarez@uns.edu.ar » Tue May 03, 2011 18:54

Hi!!
It's possible combine biological model with lagrangian tracers?
I'm simulating dispersal of larvae and would need to attach biological algorithms. There is the possibility of doing so?
from already thank you very much !!!!!

Hi Laura,

It's possible and it has been done with sardine larvae at some point, but I'm not sure if it's still available in the current MOHID code.

You can only add new formulations by coding them in MOHID. MOHID is open source and you can download (mohid.codeplex.com) and change the code to solve your problem. Let me know if you need help.

Cheers,
Luis
