Insufficient memory to allocate fortran RTL message buffer

Postby anamartin98@gmail.com » Mon Oct 17, 2011 20:15

Hi dear Mohidders
When trying some Mohid water simulations, I've found this message:
'Insufficient memory to allocate fortran RTL message buffer, message #157'

Program doesn't run, and I have to use a different grid (usually less resolution works. This has happened to me with 25 m resolution grid but also with 50 m. In fact, I've tried a 50 m resolution grid with few cells in i and j directions, and the error happened, but it worked fine if (with the same resolution) the number of cells were greater (double or more).

Does anybody knows what the problem can be?

Thank you so much
Ana

Hi Ana,

Which version of MOHID are you using? What's your computer specifications? RAM? windows XP, vista, 7?

How many grid cells in each of the grids you've tested?

Cheers,
Luis
