Dear mohiders,
I've been trying to model a nested case in mohid water, but a receive this error:
ConstructFatherGridLocation - ModuleHorizontal Grid -ERR10.

Re: nesting: ConstructFatherGridLocation - ModuleHorizontal
Hi Juan,
Both grids must have the same values in keyword LATITUDE and LONGITUDE.
For example, if it's defined:
LATITUDE : 42.00000
LONGITUDE : -8.000000
in your father grid data, you must define the same values in your son grid data. You only need to open the file in the notepad and correct the values. I think it will solve your problem.
Cheers,
Guilherme

Re: nesting: ConstructFatherGridLocation - ModuleHorizontal
Hi Guilherme, thank you by your kind reply.
I received the same advice from Luis, I followed the tips and I solved the problem,
thank you both
FROM LUIS:
Dear Juan,
The keywords LATITUDE and LONGITUDE in the father and son bathymetry files must have the same values. These keywords are used in MOHID nesting scheme (when using geographical coordinates) to determine the reference point for the projection to me made in metric coordinates. This will result in the projection being the same for both grids and thus the son grid will be correctly projected within the father grid in metric coordinates.
Best regards,
Luis
