Websig Problem

Postby nuno.r.rodrigues@ua.pt » Tue Mar 18, 2014 11:31

Hello,

I'm trying to access Ria de Aveiro websig in Mohid, to achieve the salinity map, and the map is not drawn.
The URL is: http://www.mohid.com/gis/Scripts/mapserv.exe?map=C:\WebData\www\www.mohid.com\gis\Aveiro\MapFiles\Aveiro.map&program=%2FScripts%2Fmapserv.exe&map_web_imagepath=C:\WebData\www\www.mohid.com\gis\Aveiro\temp\&map_web_imageurl=%2FGIS%2FAveiro%2Ftemp%2F&zoomsize=2&map_pontos_data=PA_00003&map_pontos_header=../Data/Templates/PA_00003_Header.html&map_pontos_class_template=../Data/Templates/PA_00003_body.html&map_pontos_class_expression=&map_pontos_metadata_expressao=&map_pontos_metadata_descricao=Salinidade+[PSU]

Hello Nuno.

Here is working for me.
Have you updated Java recently?

The newer versions of java are causing problems to java based web tecnology.

You have to go to the Java Console (in Windows 7 is under Start->Java->Configure Java), select the Security tab and check your configuration.
If it's set to High or Very High, you have two options.

1. Set to Medium. Can be dangerous.
2. Add the http://www.mohid.com to the list of exceptions.

The second option is the one I choose.
After this, when I load any mohid page that has a java functionality, it asks me to allow it to be executed.

Hope this will help you.
Cheers,
Eduardo.
