Define Discharge

I would like define discharge at estuary mouse, In mohid Gis can define discharge point(x y z).

I wish define discharge boundary like line input(across the river), not point

and time varying discharge input(Input river discharge flux as Nitrate or BOD etc., according time variation)

How can I make this input linear file?

Is there some example input file?

Hello,

did you take a look at the samples which ship with MOHID v4.6? The fourth sample applications shows how to input discharges.

From MOHID GIS you have to obtain the grid cell coordinates (I, J) of the point where you want to place the discharge.

In the discharge data file you have to define blocks like shown below.

DEFAULT_FLOW_VALUE : 100.

For time varrying discharges you must define a Time Series for the discharge. One column must contain the flow values and other columns can contain concentrations of properties to be discharged.

In this case the blocks should look like:

J_CELL : 16
DEPTHBYGRID : 1
K_CELL : 12
ALTERNATIVE_LOCATIONS : 1

The time series file which contains the information about is a normal MOHID Time Series file.

To impose discharges along a line, you must define several discharges at different grid locations.
