Hi,

You can not define velocity (m/s) in your discharge. You must define flow (m3/s).

To activate the discharges option in the Hydrodynamic module, the keyword is

WATER_DISCHARGES : 1

This connects the Hydrodynamic module to the Discharges module.
In the Discharges data file you must define the location and characteristics of the discharge. Thus, in your case you must define the grid cell that corresponds to your estuary mouth's. This has been explained by Frank in a previous post (http://www.mohid.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=159)

You can check also in the samples that come with the installation package. Also in the Hydrodynamic module user manual there is information on how to do this.

Hope this helps,
Luis

It's not possible to discharge velocity, like Luis said, but it is possible to associated a momentum to the discharge. Is this what you are looking for?
