simulation

Postby h.rabipour@yahoo.com » Fri Jun 23, 2017 09:26

Hello Mohiders;
I have run my model but it doesn't simulate the water level and velocity in the correct way. For example it simulate zero value for water level and doesn't show any changes in the map window when I play it. Also the graphs are without change and are not logical. I have studied the manual and follow it step by step but results are different. What is wrong? May you help me please?
Best Regards;
Haniye.

Dear Haniye,

I would recommend you to start by downloading the MOHID Studio software:

http://www.actionmodulers.com/products/mstudio/pms-down.shtml

The program includes some samples for running MOHID Water:

http://wiki.actionmodulers.com/wiki/index.php?title=MOHID_Studio_-_User_Guide_-_v.2.0

you could start building your simulation based on those files. I hope I have been of help. Best regards,

Francisco Campuzano

dear Francisco;
I didn't understand your recommend about start by downloading the MOHID Studio software!!! Your mean is I uninstall the software and install it again??

And about tutorial link; I studied it before. It didn't help me to generate a correct result from simulation. I want to send you my zip project file by drop box. Please look at it and share with me your idea.
Kindly looking forward to your helpful clue;

Best Regards;
Haniye.

Dear Haniye,

Besides what Francisco told, try the MOHID Water Quick Start Guide.
http://www.actionmodulers.pt/Biblioteca/Uploads/Downloads/Walkthroughs/MOHID_Studio_-_MOHID_Water_Quick_Start_Guide_v3.pdf

This guide refers a link to MOHID Studio zip file that has from simple 2D tide simulation to full 3D and water quality.
If you already seen this, than just use that MOHID Studio Project as reference.

So my first advice is to use from that project the simulation that more relates to what you are doing and use it as base for your project (copy it to your project).
Then you can just change the bathymetry to the one in your location and see how it goes.
For me is the best approach to start.

Best regards,
David
