Postby seaswell@telefonica.net » Fri Jul 26, 2013 09:14

Dear, Mohiders. Does anybody know how to extract information or covert HDF5 files to ASCII files?

Thank you very much,

Màrius

Hello,

This features currently does not exist in MOHID Studio. We want to include it in the next version. But you can export HDF Files to ESRI Shapefiles (File Conversion -> MOHID to Shapefile) or to KML (File Conversion -> MOHID to KML).

Hope this helps,
Frank

Hello Frank,

I have used the file conversion tool and it worked realy fine when I exported to shapefile. But when I tried to export to kml it just didnt work. Have you observed some issue about it? I have made a run with the UTM, coordinate type 5, may it be the problem?

Regards,

LHPG

Hello,

when you export data to KML which is not in geographic coordinates (WGS 84), the tool fails. I will correct this in the next release.

Thanks for reporting.
