HDF5 grids visualization

Postby luis.vilasa@meteogalicia.es » Tue May 09, 2006 12:20

Hi forum!

I' m trying to load two hdf5 files in the same GIS view.

The grids of the two files have different resolution and cover a different area, The problem is that it appears that they are represented from the same origin, in their lower-left corner.

How can I maintain the relative position between grids?

Thanks in advance

Luis

Hi Luis,

This happens because you're loading the ConnectionX and ConnectionY arrays, which are given in meters in relation to an origin which has X = 0 and Y = 0.
If you load the Latitude and Longitude arrays instead, the problem will be solved.

Best regards,
Luis

Hi Mahmud,

Please find more info on MOHID GIS and file formats in our wiki website http://www.mohid.com/wiki. Look for “MOHID GIS” and “Input Data Formats”, especially XYZ points.

Best regards,

Luis
