Digital terrain tool doesn´t run

Hi!

Sorry for making 2 different posts, one after the other. It´s that I´m trying to run MOHID in diferent computers at the same time (I work in a physical oceanography lab and they want every computer with mohid running in it).

My problem this time is that when I try to creat a bathymetry, I select a grid and a xyz file but when I try to run it it starts but right a way says its done and nothing happens. I get no error messages, no results, nothing.

Does anyone have any idea of what´s happening? In the mean while I´m trying to change the grid, change the xyz file... everything I can think of

Maybe this error is related to the other post.
If you check the \"Regional and Language settings\" on every computer and they are fixed as in the other post I wrote, and the problem persists, please post here.

Hi,

Eventually if your xyz points are not contained in the provided grid Digital Terrain Creator may not provide any error message and of course it will not do the job.

Perhaps you specified a different coordinate type for the grid and the xyz points by mistake . Please check if both coordinate types are consistent.

Thank you for the quick answer. I've been trying and my xyz file is in UTM coordinates, and when I define the grid with MOHID GIS it's also in UTM. If I put the coordinates of my grid (x, y coordinates) with the default values for latitude, longitude and zone it works (UTM coordinates), but if I change this default values to establish mine, it doesn't work. I hope you understand.

Hi Ana,

Can you see in MOHID GIS the grid and the xyz points in the same area?

If there is some problem with the coordinates then you should see these data referring to different areas .
