Hello all,
Could anyone explain me please what is Max. slope of the porous media tool refering to? I´ve read that it indicates the maximum slope the tool should consider, but, isnt the slope calculated from the DTM? Could it be the slope of the cells? Sorry but I dont get it..
Thanks in advance,

Re: Porous media tool -- Max slope
thank you frank, I had already read it, but I didnt undestand it right.. Is it the max slope to create the bottom file? So is it any way to check both topografy slope?

Re: Porous media tool -- Max slope
Anne,
the slope is computed appart from topography.
the cells with a slope higher than the maximum slope will have the maximum soil depth and the max depth will be applied to slope zero. Anithing between is a linear function of slope
or
- Max Depth = Soil Depth when slope is zero;
- Min Depth = Soil Depth when slope >= Max Slope;
