Hi,
You can try to download the user manual from the MOHID website (members area).
You can use MOHID Land or MOHID Water, depending on the complexity of your problem. Nevertheless, the WaterQuality module is the same in both programs. The differences relate only with the hydrodynamic and transport.
Best regards,
Luis

Mohid Wateer Quality Model
I have one question related with Mohid Water Quality. I’m trying to model a coastal lagoon with a restricted water exchange with the adjacent ocean. I would like to use the oxygen, nitrogen and phosphorus cycle. But I have some concerns related with the N and P cycle since I have not used before. From the lagoon I have a survey with the following parameters PO4, NO3, NH4, TOP, TON, TP, TN, OD. However, I don’t have any information about NO2. So I’m not sure if I would need this value to run the model or if I would need another value related with nitrogen or phosphorus cycle?
Thank you

Hi Cinthya
Maybe the Mohid Water forum is a better place to you to put this question...

Re: Mohid Land
Hi Cinthya,
The MOHID Water forum is more appropriate for this, but nevertheless, as the WaterQuality module is shared with MOHID Land... if you don't have any data for NO2, you can use 10% of NO3 concentration. NO2 is rather an intermediate between NH4 and NO3. The model will adjust the initial condition very quickly, so don't worry much about the value you give. 10% should be fine.
Hope this helps,
Luis
