Error in launch the mohid tools

Postby utong80@gmail.com » Wed Mar 03, 2010 04:26

Hi..
I got this message when I click launch MOHID tools

\"Isolated cells in horizontal are not allowed\"

i = 34
j = 14
Bathimetry = 4.0895
New Bathymetry = -99.00000

\"A new Bathymetry has been created, with isolated cells removed\"
\"Modify the file Nomfich.dat and Re-run the model\"
\"New Bathymetry file : .................\"

Please somebody help me fix this problem
Thank you in advance

Regards,
Utong

Hi Utong,

MOHID does not allow for isolated grid cells to exist in your bathymetry file, so it automatically turns those grid cells into land and creates a new bathymetry file.

Just go to the MOHID GUI and redefine the path to the bathymetry file to the new file that was created. In your message appears

\"New Bathymetry file : .................\"

Is this the real message or have you replaced the filename by \".................\"?

In that case, check if the path to the bathymetry file has less than 256 characters.

Let me know if it works,
Luis

Thank you for your kindly response Luis,

I did your suggestion by redefine the path to the bathymetry file.
And now I got this new error message below:

"FATAL; INTERNAL; UpdateImposedValues - ModuleMap - ERRO8"

"Program stop anormaly. See Log file"

for your information, my bathymetry's file name is BangkaBelitung.dat
and the new bathymetry file that MOHID created is BangkaBelitung_.new2

Sincerely,
Utong
