Hi Mohiders!!!
We 're applying the model to study a delta growth, using FreeVerticalMovement and InterfaceSedimentWater to compute sedimentation, and Sand module for Bathimetry evolution.
Does exist the possibility of getting the Deposition Rate as a result (HDF or series)? We have look for it in the source without success...
Thanks!!
Martin

Hi Luis
after a while, I'm trying again to run the model. But now there is another problem that not allow to make it work.
Property : cohesive sediment
must be defined as a sediment property.

Hello everyone!
I'm still trying to run a project that computes sediment fluxes, but it shows the same error:
Property : cohesive sediment
must be defined as a sediment property.
CheckOptionsSedimentFluxes - ModuleInterfaceSedimentWater – ERR10
Now, I'm just working with the samples, which anybody can download form the web (Mohid_v4 Sample Applications) The only thing that changes between those examples and what I want to run is the InterfaseSedimentWater_1.dat, to compute sediment fluxes:
SEDIMENT_FLUXES : 1
including a SedimentProperties_1.dat
<beginproperty>
NAME : cohesive sediment
UNITS : kg/m2
DESCRIPTION : cohesive sediment mass
PARTICULATE : 1
OLD : 0
ADVECTION_DIFFUSION : 1
DIFFUSION_METHOD : 1
BIOTURBATION : 0
PARTITION : 0
DT_INTERVAL : 60
<endproperty>
It seem that the soft doesn't detect the SedimentProperties_1.dat file (included in nomfich.dat as SED_DAT : ../data/SedimentProperties_1.dat) or it can't read it properly.
Does anybody has worked with the SedimentPropertiesModule already? Any idea about this error?

Dear Martin,
Sorry for the late reply. The problem is that the current release version of MOHID does not features the sediment compartment (modules Consolidation and SedimentProperties). There is still few documentation regarding this feature which I've developed within the framework of my MSc thesis.
These modules are used to compute a 3D sediment compartment below the interface sediment water, which can handle layer by layer erosion, deposition and compaction. If you are willing to give it a try, I can send you the executable compiled with this modules and the correspondent input data files.
Cheers,
Luis

Luis!
thank you for your reply! of course I still wanted to try it, so I appreciate if you send me those files and the executable. Maybe it's useful you to know, that it run under Linux 64 bit (for the compatibility of the compiled version).
Another issue, about this executable: the deposition criteria are still based in this document?

Thanks again!

Hi Martin,
The deposition criteria is still the one based on that document. For the sediment compartment model there are some more formulations regarding the erosion part.
I'm working on getting some samples together and also compile the executable. As soon as I have it I'll send it to you.
Best regards,
Luis

Re: Deposition rate
Hi!
I'm also trying to construct a model with consolidation and sediment properties. Where can I find the executable compiled with those modules? I'm running my simulations on windows.
Thanks!
