HDF5 Library error

Postby dengbin85@live.cn » Thu Nov 13, 2008 15:45

Hello,

I am trying to compiling MOHIDI ,there are errors as follows:

inking...
LINK : fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file \"hdf5_hl.lib\"
Error executing link.exe.

I think that my error is on the HDF Libraries. I am using the files from the folder:

...\\SourceCode_v4.9_25June2007\\HDF_1_6_5\\SingleThread

But on this folder doesn't have the files hdf5_hl.lib and the fd5_fortran.lib

BTW:I am using the Compaq Visual Fortran 6.6C
Can you sent me by e-mail the compiled HDF5 libs and mods for the Compaq compiler !

Thanks!
dengbin

Hi Dengbin,

Sorry for the late answer.
Please download the latest version of MOHID, and use the given code and HDF libraries. If you're using Compaq Visual Fortran 6.6C, please use the libs included in the MOHID installation package. They are in

C:\\Program Files\\Mohid\\SourceCode\\SourceCode\\SourceCode_v4.9.1_10October2008\\HDF\\HDF164-CVF66C\\

Hope this helps,
Luis
