Hi,
Before converting the MOHID output into the ncdf format, could I convert it into the hdf5 format using the Convert2HDF5 tool?
Thanks in advance,
Eva

Hi Eva,
I am not sure I understood your problem
You have got MOHID outputs (in hdf5) and you want to convert them to netcdf, right? To do that there is a specific tool called Convert2netcdf. The code is in SourceSafe to which you have access, but I can send you a compiled version with a sample input data file.
I hope I've answered your question, if not just let me know.
Best regards,
Luis

Olá Eva,
Humm, I guess there's no specific tool for that for now...
Some time ago I've made a more or less generic code that converts netcdf files into HDF5, which has been adapted to create several modules included in Convert2HDF5 that convert netdcf to hdf5. It's not really generic because it had to be adapted for each specific source of date in netcdf.
One good example is the case of ModuleERA40Format.f90 or ModuleWOAFormat.f90 in the Convert2HDF5 project.
You can try to look at this 2 modules and adapt into what you need and then I can help you from there.
Best regards,
Luis

Hi Renan,
You can start by trying to compile MOHID. The source code is distributed in the installation (see the MOHID installation folder).
You can see the compilation instructions in MOHID wiki.
After you do this I can send you more information on how to write the conversion tool using (and re-using) MOHID code.
Best regards,
Luis
