Insufficient virtual memory

Hello Mohiders,

I would like to know if somebody had a similar problem or can help me

I´m running Mohid in a bay and I activated 90 points to generate TimeSeries files for WaterProperties. Besides that, I have activated the Assimilation with HDF files and after runnig the model for 1 day (30 min run) I had the following message:

forrtl: severe (41): insufficient virtual memory Stack trace terminated abnormally

I would like to know what can I do about it...

I "solved" it dividing the HDF5 assimilation file in 10 days data files and running simulations of 10 days each...

This probably is related to the fact that the standard MOHID executable that comes with MOHID Studio is not "tunned" to run simulations with big files.

I would say if this happens, ask us for a MOHID executable that does not limit memory use, or if you havea 64bit machine a 64bit executable that will not have emmory limitations by the OS.
In the next MOHID Studio version there will be the executables for MOHID for 32bit and 64bit computers.


And you will not need to break the simulations.
